The CR 5000 Code Scanner can be used as a age verification tool. It can be configured in such a way that if a person is under a certain age, it will blink red and emit a raspberry sound and if they are a correct age it will blink green and emit positive sound.

This can only be used with AAMVA-compliant bar-coded Driver Licenses (find out which states are compliant HERE ). By default the scanner is set to verify age 21.

Using the configuration tool at the CodeCorp page, you can configure the code scanner for any age setting you want and other settings. The tool will generate codes based on your settings and you simply scan the code it gives you. When done scan the code labeled SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of this document. To reset your settings if you make a mistake, scan RESET SETTINGS.
