Scenario 1: User gets locked out of CAS because of too many failed attempts - with Email Address

Steps to take to unblock user, if employee has their email address attached to their employee record


STEP 1:

The employee presses the Forgotten password on the login screen

Enter User Name and Company Code

Check email for temporary password


STEP 2:

Log into CAS using the User name, temporary password and company code


Reset password by entering the temp password and then the new password


This will clear the failed logins and reset the password



Scenario 2: User gets locked out of CAS because of too many failed attempts

Steps to take to unblock user, if employee does not have their email address attached to their employee record


STEP 1:

The System Admin will need to log into CAS 

Navigate To: Management - User - Modify Employee 



STEP 2:

Select the employee by entering their name and pressing Find


All employees matching the criteria will be displayed

Select employee and press Show


STEP 3:

Modify the Password

Press Modify 



Scenario 3: System Admin gets locked out of CAS because of too many failed attempts

System Admin knows password but has too many failed attempts:


System Admin should send an email to support@retailcloud.com letting us know that they are locked out and need access to the CAS. Please include your Company Code and System Admin Name


We will clear the failed log ins





System Admin forgot their password and needs it reset:


If the SystemAdmin does not remember their password and needs it reset, send an email to support@retailcloud.com letting us know that you have forgotten your password and need the password reset. Please include your Company Code and System Admin Name


We will send a temporary password via email to the System Admin email address on file associated with the account
