Normally on PAX devices swiping to use a Gift Card is not allowed. It must be enabled in the PAX build on the store. The setting is under the Industry tab under the "Semi Integration Only" section. Attached images for reference. This will enable swiping, but you will still need the appropriate credentials with a Gift Card provider installed on the system and of course GC must be a usable tender.
Under "Indstry - Semi Integration Only" Change "Gift/Loyalty card check Type for Inputaccount" parameter to "Excluded from Credit BIN" after this is done, batch and reboot the device to get the update.
