To get the SideScanner on the Elo PayPoint to work, the scanner must be in HID mode (Ships in this mode) and the scanner must be set to "Elo" under Configuration - Hardware - Scanner.
1. Scanner should be in HID mode - Default from factory
2. POS - Hardware - Devices should be Elo
3. POS - Hardware - Scanner should be Elo
