This article is designed to give a rough explanation of how to print barcode labels on a Roll Printer. The 2 main Label Printers we support are the TSC TDP-225 and the Zebra ZD410 (the process for Zebra is slightly different but still located under "Printing Preferences", but this can probably apply to other models aswell. The process consists of choosing a label size and then adjusting the offsets of the printer to the point that you are satisfied with the printing location. There is quite a bit of trial and error getting it the way you want. The process might not be exactly the same on all printers, but the basic two step process of setting the label size and using offsets is used on all printers.

1. Right click the printer in Control Panel and select "Printing Preferences"

2. Go to the Page Setup tab and select "New" to enter a new label size"

3. Enter the label size. The Width would be horizontal length and Height is the vertical.

4. Press OK to close this window and go to "Advanced options" on the main window.

5. Here you will adjust the offsets according to width and height. To bring it "up" or "left" you would use a negative value such as '-0.25' without quotes. To go "down" or "right" you would just use a positive value like '0.25'.

6. As stated, there is some trial in error to get it to the postion you want. But once you get to the correct position, you do not have to do this process again. You simply print the barcode with the 'Print using system dialog' instead of using Chrome. The labels will print with the previously chosen settings.
