Overview: retailcloud has a number of ways to get your products loaded into the system. The following are the primary ways:
One of the easiest ways to add items into your point of sale is by using retailcloud's SMART IMPORT
What is SMART IMPORT?
It's as simple as drag and drop of your item file
Great for converting from your current POS system, as we accept any file.
The Smart Import will assess your file, ask the meaning for any column headers it does not recognize
An email will be sent to you with the import status, how many items successfully import, how many fail - with the reason for the fails
Tip : You can also use the smart import to update the items after they are created.
ADD ITEM ON THE PAX A920
Create the items directly on the Pax:
Click the “Item” Icon from the home screen
Click the add item button which shows on the bottom of the page
Enter the details in the “New Item” screen. The dropdown are defaulted to “Default” attribute.
Click Save and the success message will confirm if the item is created successfully
Tip : If an item is created with 0 price you will be able to add the item price every time you add to cart. This is generally useful if an item has a variable price or it is set during sale.
